The most important event of the week is the military events in the US-Israel war against Iran on April 3. First, Iran shot down a US F-15 fighter jet and, at the same time, Tehran launched drone attacks on Saudi Arabian and Kuwaiti oil facilities. These developments indicate an escalation of the conflict with a negative impact on the markets. Although diplomatic efforts for a ceasefire remain uncertain, questions arise about the real power that the US can project against Iran. A direct US-Iran confrontation is a threat to global security, causing a rapid increase in oil prices, and risks a broader conflict in the Middle East.
