#ASF – ATHENS SECURITY FORUM
Given the dramatic changes to the geopolitical environment that follow Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, reflection on the scope and objectives of NATO is both timely and necessary.
Two influential keynote speakers, Dr. Benedetta Berti, Head of NATO’s Policy Planning Unit and Dr. Thanos Dokos, National Security Advisor to the Greek PM, will elaborate on the need for NATO to redefine and fine-tune its instruments and objectives. Three discussants, from the academia, the military and the diplomatic corps respectively will react to their presentations.
This is the inaugural event (first out of four) of the 1st Athens Security Forum, which is focusing on the new geopolitical realities and security threats that NATO’s new strategic concept must address.
