…that the European Space Agency wants to create the first artificial solar eclipse. Creating an artificial solar eclipse could potentially benefit the environment in several ways. Harnessing solar energy during the temporary dimming of sunlight would reduce the demand for fossil fuels, mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution associated with traditional energy sources. Additionally, increased research into solar phenomena and solar energy technologies would have the potential to accelerate the transition to renewable energy sources, further reducing the carbon footprint and environmental degradation. Moreover, advancements in solar power would be likely to lead to widespread adoption of clean energy solutions, decreasing reliance on finite resources and minimizing ecological impact.
...the Letta report, presented at the European Council on Thursday 18 April 2024. Specifically, this report of the former Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta is about future reforms to ensure the future of the European single market, which has been operating for more than thirty years. Among other things, Letta proposes adding research and training to the existing single market rights, as well as the creation of a capital markets union for financial integration. This news is positive since, in a difficult geopolitical environment, the European Union is making progressive steps, contradicting its critics.

…the fact that on 19 April, Israel launched a retaliatory attack against Iran. The Israeli military used drones for the strikes, targeting military units near Isfahan in response to last week’s Iranian attack. The attack seemed limited, and both countries initially downplayed it, suggesting a desire to ease tensions, even though Iran had warned of retaliation for any aggression on its soil. Israel had considered broader strikes but postponed the decision after negotiations with the US. The attack did not target the Isfahan nuclear facility, however, it is not the first time the area has been targeted, as it was also preceded by a drone attack in January 2023. The situation is exacerbating tensions between Israel and Iran, despite US advice against further escalation.
...the statement by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal. Smyhal said that if Russia wins the war, World War III may occur. It is well known that Ukraine needs financial aid and ammunition because of Russia’s superiority. Ukraine has called on the USA, which, together with the West, is supplying the country with arms, to immediately approve the additional aid that it has been waiting for for months. Otherwise, Ukraine will be left unprotected, which will facilitate the provocation of repeated conflicts, and hence the start of a widespread war.
